追寻儒家思想，品味中国文化：SayHi曲阜文化实践风采展示（一）

在这两天，我深入学习和了解了孔子和儒家文化。这次学习分为三个部分：课堂教学、现场文化教学和文化体验环节。通过课堂学习，我们学习了孔子的生平和孔子博大精深、仁者爱人的儒家思想；通过现场文化教学，我们观摩了古迹和实物，对课堂的理论教学有了更加深刻地理解和认知；我最喜欢文化体验环节，在这个环节，我们可以自己动手完成一项有意思的文化活动，虽然做得不是很完美，但是却是一次少有的经历，让人最为印象深刻。

在这次活动中，我们和来自海内外的清华同胞一起生活，一起交流，感受了不同文化之间的思想碰撞，这一点在23日晚的“新清谈‘’活动中体现的尤为明显。来自不同国家的学生谈论了他们对于儒家教学理念、儒家的忠、孝的理解，在感受文化差异的同时，也提高了各民族的文化自信。

Participated in this activity, I think that I got a lot of new knowledges and experiences that I will not find from anywhere. I feel like it is not only just about Chinese culture and Confucius thing but I also get to know a lot of new people from all around the world with the different background but have the same interest.

The second day is my favorite part of the trip. We went to visit the Mansion, Temple, and Cemetery of Confucius. Even though I am not a person who is really into history and ancient thing but when I think that the place where I walked through is the place where Confucius also walked though ages ago and the draw well I was looking at is the draw well that Confucius really used in his time period, it made me feel so amazing.

The journey to QuFu was one like no other, the feeling of being in a place so far from home yet surrounded by familiar faces. It felt nice, a reminder that the Irish side of me is still there. The feeling of sharing feelings from different backgrounds but similar experience that decreases all the pressure.

The true highlight was indeed the route to understand and learn about KongZi. Going to his museum we hear of such stories that reminded me of parables in the Bible. He taught valuable lessons and done things that others will not. I personally liked the story about the burning horse and man the most. In the modern world it can be equivalent to choosing life or money. KongZi pushed aside the fact of the injured horse but instead turned his focus on the old man who's value is far less than the horse. But he teaches how we should always put humans first, no matter what.

During Saturday evening conference, I found the comparison between Confucius and some pillars of Western religion and philosophy among which Socrates and Jesus or great interest. The concepts of 仁 and of 恕 are surprisingly similar to the message that Jesus launched of “loving thy neighbour”, although the two thoughts developed thousands of kilometres apart and in completely different contexts.

The hierarchical conception of Confucius had to be introduced in every relationship of man: the relationship between the subject and the Emperor, which had to be characterised by 义, the relationship between father and son by 孝, which we could translate as filial piety and still is a living value of China. Finally, relationship between wife and husband characterized by 梯 and the one between friends, which is only peer relationship, characterized by 信。

A further element which I find particularly interesting of Confucius, is the fact that he said of himself that: “I’m not a creator, but a continuator of the tradition. I believe in the ancestors and love them”. 

作为一名华夏儿女，也作为一名文学专业的学生，一直以来我都被源远流长的孔子文化所深深地影响着和感动着，但是都是在书本上感知圣贤思想的崇高和精神的伟大，这次能够亲临其地，亲自感受到触摸到几千年前孔子居住、著作、讲学的地方，对我而言更是另一种形式的启迪和激励。这次参观让我印象最深的是，我们在参观过程中遇到的所有人几乎都对《论语》耳熟能详，这说明孔子的思想已经作为一种行为模式内化在每个人心中了。正如导游所向我们解释的那样：“每一个中国人都是儒家弟子。”
