【首译】梦的本质｜《赛斯修炼法Ⅲ》选读

 从时空的角度看，梦就是当意识“换挡”时发生的事，当驱动意识的能量改变焦点时，各种能量完形围绕着各种“重要意义”聚集，而每个完形都在创造一个独特的实相，都以自己特定的强度嗡嗡作响。作为各个实相之间的过渡阶段，梦境并不是一种仅限于人类（或地球人）的现象。当感知转换、“实相”改变时，每一种形式的意识，无论是物质的还是非物质的，都有类似于我们睡眠的状态。在我们的情形里，梦是连接物质实相和非物质实相的桥梁，融合了二者的元素。如果我们从清醒的角度看待梦，梦对我们而言可能是扭曲的。事实上，梦是各种实相的结合体，通过表面上的扭曲，我们能瞥见其他实相的本质。

In space-time terms, dreaming is what happens when consciousness “shifts gears,” when the energy giving motion to consciousness changes focus, Energy gestalts group around significances, each creating a unique reality, each humming with its own particular intensity. The dream state, as a stage of transition between realities, is not a phenomenon limited to mankind (or earthkind). Every form of consciousness, physical and nonphysical, has states analogous to our sleep when perceptions shift and “reality” changes. In our case, dreams bridge material and nonmaterial reality, blending elements of both. If we view dreams from a waking perspective, they may seem distorted to us. In fact, they are a combination of realities, and through seeming distortions we glimpse the nature of other realities.

梦作为中介，使体验不同实相的“存有”之间进行交流成为可能。在清醒时，参与一个选定实相的“存有”必须（在不同程度上）保持焦点，但在睡眠期间，他们的注意力可能会偏离，实际上需要这种偏离来收集必要的信息，以使系统处于不断创造的状态。那些信息中的一些来自同一系统内的其他存有，在我们的情形里，不仅来自地球上的所有其他人类，还来自所有其他的生命形式。其它信息则来自“外部”，来自别的实相，并提供了在实相创造中所用的原材料（被感知为可能的事件）。

Dreams serve as intermediaries, making it possible for entities experiencing one reality to communicate with those experiencing another. While awake the entities participating within a chosen reality must (to varying extents) keep it in focus, but during sleep their attention can stray, and in fact needs to stray in order to glean the necessary information to keep the system in a state of constant creation. Some of that information comes from other entities within the same system, in our case not only from all other humans on earth but all other life forms. Other information comes from the “outside,” from other realities, and provides the raw material (perceived as probable events) to use in reality creation.

在时空中，我们都参与了物体与行动的物质实相，但我们有许多语言来象征实相。对于不懂西班牙语的人来说，“椅子”这个词在翻译之前是没有意义的，翻译之后，西班牙语的实相在英语实相中变得清晰起来。同样，“我们”所有人 ——能量意识的无限显化——都具有纯能量的非物质实相，但我们有无数的“语言”（实相、以“重要意义”为中心的焦点）需要翻译，以使我们理解这种纯能量在“彼处”是什么样子的。梦为我们提供这种服务，这就是为什么赛斯称梦为“心灵的语言”。梦将一种意识能量的语言翻译成另一种语言中可被理解的术语。

In space-time, we all participate in the material reality of objects and actions, but have numerous languages to symbolize that reality. To someone who doesn’t know Spanish, the word for “chair” is meaningless until translated, after which the Spanish reality becomes clear in the English reality. Similarly, all of “us”—the infinite manifestations of energized consciousness—have in common the nonmaterial reality of pure energy, but we have innumerable “languages” (realities, focuses on significance) that need to be translated in order for us to understand what this energy is like “there.” Dreams do us that service, which is why Seth calls them “the language of the psyche.” They translate one language of conscious energy into terms understandable in another.

语言以创造力见长。即使我们想，我们也无法两次讲出一模一样的话。虽然单词可能相同，但语调、音质、时间或其他方面会有所不同，因此每句话语都成为一个独特的创作。当我们将一个句子从西班牙语翻译成英语时，就创造了一个新的实相——它在某种程度上有助于我们理解，但绝不可能再造西班牙语的实相。在翻译中丢失了某些东西，却也有所得——以原创的形式。

Languages are known for their creativity. Even if we want to we cannot produce the same utterance twice. While the words may be the same, intonation, voice quality, timing, or some other aspect will differ, making each utterance a unique creation. When we translate a sentence from Spanish to English, we create a new reality, to some extent helping us to understand the reality of the Spanish but by no means re-creating it. Something is lost in translation, but gained—in the form of originality.

我们的实相也是如此：在对另一个实相的转译中丢失了一些东西，但是获得了某些至关重要的东西——一种独特的创造。从这个角度看，梦不仅仅是将能量的语言从一个实相转译到另一个实相的方法，而且也是创造新实相的中介所。

The same is true of our reality: Something is lost in the translation from another reality, but something of crucial importance is gained—a unique creation. From this perspective, dreams are not merely a means of translating the language of energy from one reality to another, but also the agency through which new realities are created.
