妙法蓮華經 信解品第四（56）

The Lotus Sutra Chapter IV Willing Acceptance

We were led and inspired by the buddhas

So that our attainment of the path was not in vain;

And we have already been able

To pass on the benefits

We received from the Buddha.

佛所教化，得道不虛，則為已得，報佛之恩。

佛所教化的道法是真實不虛的，我們證得這種道法，就算是報佛之恩。

Although we have expounded

The teaching of the bodhisattvas

To the heirs of the Buddha

To seek the buddha path,

We never longed for this teaching.

我等雖為，諸佛子等，說菩薩法，以求佛道；而於是法，永無願樂。

我們雖爲佛弟子們說大乘菩薩法門，教導他們求證佛道，但我們自己卻對這種法并無願樂，
