The Lotus Sutra Chapter IV Willing Acceptance

Thinking this, he ran away

In search of a poor village

Where he could find employment.

思惟是已，馳走而去，借問貧里，欲往傭作。

想到這裏，他立即拔腳跑去，另外打聽貧窮人家，想在那裏受雇作工。

At that time the wealthy man,

Who was sitting on the lion seat,

Saw his son in the distance.

Though he recognized him he told no one,

But sent his attendants

To pursue him and bring him back.

長者是時，在師子座，遙見其子，默而識之。即勅使者，追捉將來。

這時，長者在師子座在遠遠看見他的兒子，默然無語，便一眼認出。他立即命使者将兒子追回。
