Obtain human incarnation from adhering to the Five Precepts
人身从哪里来？是从受持五戒中来的。How can people get human incarnation? The answer is, by observing and adhering to the Five Precepts.现在是贤劫，在这个贤劫里边，要有千佛出世，释迦牟尼佛是第四尊佛，以后还有第五尊是弥勒佛，一直到一千尊佛。贤劫以前是庄严劫，也是千佛出世，尽虚空遍法界，有许许多多的佛。Now we are in the “Fortunate Aeon” during which a thousand Buddhas come into the world. Sakyamuni Buddha is the fourth Buddha in our world, followed by Maitreya Buddha and other 995 Buddhas. Before the “Fortunate Aeon” there was the “Gunavyuha Aeon” during which another 1000 Buddhas were born. Among the vast and void dharma realm there are countless Buddhas.不要以为释迦牟尼佛创立佛教才两三千年的时间。无始劫以来，说不定大家在哪一尊佛的座下受过三皈五戒，所以这一世才能得到人身。得人身很不容易的。现在得到人身，最好是受三皈五戒，然后按照师父规定的功课做早课、晚课等定课，这样修行容易上路。Therefore, you shall not hold the opinion that Buddhism has only been founded for 2 or 3 thousand years. From the beginningless of time, you might have received three refugees and five precepts under the seat of any Buddha so that you get human incarnation in this life. It’s not easy to get human incarnation, once you get it, you’d better receive three refugees and five precepts and follow the master’s instruction to do your morning and evening classes which will help you a lot in your spiritual journey.释仁炟法语Dharma Talk by Venerable Master Renda
